Sweetums is a fictional ogre created by the Jim Henson Company. Sweetums debuted in The Frog Prince as Taminella's henchman. He sings a song about himself as he tries to hurt Kermit and Robin with a club. He re-appeared in The Muppet Show and Other Muppet films as a supporting character. Sweetums appeared in the Muppets Wizard of Oz as a member of the Flying Monkeys. Sweetums was performed by Richard Hunt until his death in 1992 and he is know portrayed by John Henson since 1996 and in tandem with Victor Yerrid since 2006
