I have seen those. I think that any time someone edits an existing template, the new Infobox layout system kicks in and helps convert it to the new format. It just has to be marked as approved before it becomes active.
One thing I would like to see is the number of fields in all Infoboxes being reduced quite a bit. Keep the data in them minimal. The reason is I've seen a few wikis where everything gets thrown into the Infobox and categories, and the rest of the page has practically nothing on it. You wind up with an Infobox that's two feet tall and fifty categories at the bottom of the page, and maybe there will be something like "Pete Leg Pete is a character that appears in various Walt Disney cartoons and movies."
Infoboxes really need to be a short list of some basic info about the character. The rest needs to go into sentences on the main part of the page.
Just a general question but now that Disney owns 20th century fox what is your stance on adding articles for Hexxus, Rasputin and the other 20th century villains? Or should we wait a little longer to add them?
Thanks. I think this is one I had adopted partly as a result of cleaning up vandalism, but most of it was seeing how much of a mess it's been in. I haven't done a lot on it recently, so it's probably creeping back towards being a mess, however.
As I stated before, that assumes that the grandfather is named "Henry J. Waternoose, Sr." and the father "Henry J. Waternoose, Jr." Parents may name their children after themselves but they are not required to do so. The movie does not even mention what Waternoose's father and grandfather are named.
You're not alone. A lot of people have thought that for the same reason: "the company being in the family for three generations equals he must be the third person named that way". But that's an assumption that isn't supported by what's in the movie.
He's called "Waternoose" or "Mr. Waternoose" in the movie.
His father and grandfather are never mentioned in the movie, nor any pictures of them shown in it.
Books like Pixarpedia and The Art of Monsters, Inc. list his name as "Henry J. Waternoose" without anything else.
People have been making the assumption that he's HJW III for years. They all assumed that "the company's been in my family for three generations" had to mean that Waternoose was named after his father and grandfather. They all missed the fact that those two were never even talked about. They all assumed that fathers are required to name their sons after themselves.
I hadn't done anything about this before because I was working on other things. They're getting one more chance. However, because when someone is a nuisance long enough, they don't help a wiki and sometimes an admin has to remove the nuisance.
I just found out that Arik069 is actually a duplicate of Arikhartnett, as both of their accounts have caused a lot of trouble on several Wikias. I also know that you blocked his sockpuppet account for disruption, vandals, harassment, and bad behavior on several wikia where you're an administrator/bureaucrat. What's also worse is he did notorious harassment on some good users on some wikias. Could you please send a report to the staff about the harassment behavior and notify the staff about his unacceptable behavior so he could have a permanent global block, please?
