"Your father has charged me with keeping peace in Agrabah. The boy was a criminal."-Jafar's evil grin.
(Jasmine: "What was his crime?") "Why...kidnapping the princess, of course."
Jafar listening to Jasmine explain Aladdin didn't kidnap her as she ran away on her own.
"Oh dear. How frightfully upsetting! Had I but known!"
Jafar pretending to be upset over Jasmine's revelation.
"Sadly, the boy's sentence has already been carried out."
(Jasmine: "What sentence?") "Death. By beheading."
Jafar manipulating Jasmine so she won't interfere with his plans.

The next day, Jafar is reprimanded by the Sultan for carrying out a sentence without his permission.
